U.S. Acres Collection

U.S. Acres was the second comic strip created by Jim Davis that ran from 1986 to 1989 and debuted in an unprecedented 505 newspapers! Jim created the comic strip specifically for younger fans and featured a gang of barnyard animals. They became quite popular and, like Garfield, made the leap from the comics page to books, calendars, plush toys, and even TV!

The Saturday morning animated TV show, Garfield and Friends, began its first season on CBS on October 15, 1988. Each half-hour episode contained two Garfield cartoons and one U.S.Acres cartoon.
